BE-2040 is a nonionic high-density polyethylene wax emulsion that does not contain nonylphenol-based surfactants and improves the surface properties of the formulation. It is commonly used in water-based varnishes, water-based wood finishes, coatings, and inks. It enhances abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, wear resistance, anti-sticking properties, and hardness while maintaining high gloss.

BE-2040 is recommended for use in water-based systems to optimize stain resistance, abrasion resistance, and gloss control.
